Katimavik, a program giving Canadian youth a chance to experience life in other parts of the country, is now looking for participants. Katimavik, funded by Heritage Canada helps young Canadians acquire job skills, learn a second language, and build friendships across the nation. If you are an enthusiastic person between the ages of 17 and 21, Katimavik is a unique eight month program that helps youth learn through volunteer work and group life in three Canadian regions. Accommodation, food and travel costs are all paid for and participants receive $3 per day, with a $1,000 bonus at the end of the program. The program begins in September.
