Spirit Seekers Youth Conference in Grande Prairie another success

The Spirit Seekers Youth Conference in Grande Prairie was another success this year.

The theme of this year’s gathering was “Embrace Opportunity” and geared towards people from 11 to 29 years of age.
 
Delaine Lambert is the coordinator for the event and says kids from all across the country attend the conference that helps young people have fun in a safe and uplifting atmosphere.
 
Clip – “The goal of the conference is to bring youth together from across Canada in a positive and uplifting way, to provide them with inspiration, keep them safe and provide them opportunities to learn about their culture and themselves… a lot of self-awareness.”
 
The majority of youth who attend the gathering are Aboriginal but anyone is welcome.
