Morley students captured in Through the Lens

Celebrating the artistry and impact of Through the Lens a new book, Through the Lens - Encouraging Creativity in Youth, will be released by the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies on Feb. 2, 2013, as part of Exposure, the Calgary Banff Canmore Photography Festival. Each year Through the Lens is made possible through the talents of young people, the unwavering support of the schools and the teachers involved, the local communities and the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies. Since 1997, over 500 students have participated in Through the Lens. Alumni include Morley Community School, Banff Community School and Canmore Collegiate High School students, as well as students from Calgary and international exchange students. Through the Lens has also run in a number of international communities, including Uganda, Tibet, Papua New Guinea and the Ukraine.
