Santa and the gang at the Crystal Kids drop-in centre just wanted to remind readers that the Crystal Kids Christmas Party is on Dec. 10 at the Eastwood Hall at 86 St. and 118 Ave.

Santa said any donations to make the evening that much more special for the nice boys and girls would really be appreciated. In fact, for St. Nick himself, Mrs. Claus, all the elves, Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and the rest of the reindeer, your generous donation will help them put even bigger smiles on the faces of many young boys and girls in Edmonton.

Santa also wanted to point out that, with the lack of snow in the area, his travel plans have opened up some free time between now and the big day. It's amazing, he said, how fast the reindeers' hooves can travel on dry pavement.

If your company, school or organization would like to have the jolly man at your function, give him a phone call. He has even set up an Edmonton telephone line so you don't get dinged with the long distance bill to the North Pole. Call him up to reserve him for your Christmas function. He'd be happy to bring his merry joy and Christmas cheer to you and yours over the festive season.
