Bouchier Group CEO chosen among top 100 most powerful women

Nicole Bourque-Bouchier, CEO of The Bouchier Group, will be recognized today in a special gala as one of Canada’s most powerful women. The Women's Executive Network announced the 2015 Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winners yesterday. "WXN Top 100 Award Winners are powerful women both in their careers and their potential to transcend boundaries to have a greater impact on the communities around them," said WXN founder Pamela Jeffery. Co-presented by Scotiabank and KPMG, the Top 100 Awards span the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Bourque-Bouchier is recognized in the CIBC entrepreneurs category, one of nine categories. “Our team members are family, no matter what they do for us, who they are, they are treated like a valued family member. We work closely together, laugh often and continually look for ways to inspire each other,” said Bourque-Bouchier, a member of the Mikisew Cree Nation. Bourque-Bouchier also sits on the Alberta First Nation Women’s Economic Security Council. WXN was founded in 1997and is Canada's leading organization dedicated to the advancement and recognition of women in management, executive, professional and board roles.
