Dear Editor:

I would like to thank Norman and Jerry who stopped on the 417 Highway in Ottawa at midnight on July 7.My son was in a single car accident and Norman and Jerry were the next vehicle by.

They stopped, helped my son and stayed with him. Not only did they comfort him and stay with him until the police and ambulance arrived, they went with the ambulance to the hospital and stayed until his dad arrived. Unfortunately they did not stay long enough for my husband to thank them for the incredible kindness shown to my son and our family. This is why I am hoping that you could put a short note in your paper.
