Dear Editor:

The Canadian government has set our treaties with the Crown aside and ignores them. Moreover, the Canadian government is using their military and the RCMP with guns to kill the elderly, women and children on the reserves, poisoning our First Nations' living environment, the water ways with their industrial waste and using other strong armed intimidation.

There is plenty of proof of how we as the first peoples have been physically, psychologically and spiritually tortured and maimed or killed by the Canadian government and their racist "Indian" policies, which were put in place and institutionalized and was done so as to get rid of the First Nation peoples. All we have to do is point to the common experience of the First Nation peoples, who were forcibly confined to "Indian" residential schools, and Indian reservations. Moreover, the reservations are littered with disease, contaminated water and government rationed high carbohydrate foodstuffs, along with the forced sterilization of women by the Canadian government to keep the birth rate down. Also, putting the majority of our young men in their prisons on trumped-up charges is another way of keeping the birth rate to the Canadian INAC's minimum quota. In that way, they don't have "to fund" so many "Indians.

Yet we are still here to remind the government that no matter what racist "Indian" policies they put in place, as in trying to get rid of the First Nation peoples, we are still here and we will continue to be here for time immemorial, long after the Canadian government has done themselves in by their own greedy political warring agenda.
