Five men and one woman have been charged in connection with the abduction and murder of a 44-year-old Regina man.

Wayne Gerald Friday was found dead in a wooded area on Muscowpetung First Nation on Nov. 20. Friday had been assaulted and abducted from his home in Regina earlier that day.

Charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping and first-degree murder are 21-year-old Elwin Michael Goodpipe, 21-year-old Randy John Southwind and 24-year-old Tyrone Lyndon Southwind. Quinton Lloyd Bitternose, 28, has been charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, first-degree murder, dangerous driving and evading police, the last two charges stemming from his alleged attempt to avoid arrest. Conrad Byron Moise, 24, has been charged with first-degree murder. Donna Faye Aubichon, 26, faces a charge of accessory after the fact to murder. All of those charged are from Regina.

Both the Regina Police Service and the RCMP have been involved in the case. No details as to the cause of Friday's death have been released as they form part of the ongoing police investigation.
