The partnerships needed to ensure our children receive the education they deserve will be in the spotlight this month, during Education Week, Oct. 21 to 27.

"Connecting with Community" is the theme of this year's Education Week, celebrating the quality of education in Saskatchewan, and highlighting the roles of government, family, school and community in providing that education.

This year's Education Week theme was selected to acknowledge the many contributions made by community members across the province which help to enrich the culture and the climate of Saskatchewan schools.

The Education Week theme is illustrated in special education week posters, available in English, French and Cree. A book of Education Week ideas, events and activities has also been produced by Saskatchewan Education to help teachers plan ways for their student to celebrate Education Week.
