Ellen Melcosky's home-based business Little Miss Chief Gourmet Products Inc. has been chosen to participate at the First Peoples Pavilion at the Montreal International Food and Beverages Exhibition held at the Palais des Congres on March 4 to 6.

It is anticipated that the exposure the exhibition will provide will increase export markets beyond the business's current markets in Spain and the United States.

Melcosky's brining recipe for her smoked salmon product was passed down to her from her mother and grandmother. By introducing dry white wine produced in the Okanagan Valley to the recipe, the product is unique in texture and flavor, excellent for snacks, hors d'oeuvres, meals.

Little Miss Chief Gourmet Products Inc is located on the Old Okanagan Highway in Westbank.
