Drugs worth $15,000 on street seized in Fort Macleod

April 22, 2016. Firearms and drugs seized from a residence in Fort Macleod have led to charges being laid against five people. Seized were powder cocaine, crack cocaine and marihuana, worth $15,000 on the street, as well as two rifles and one prohibited firearm, a machete and knife, and approximately $1,000 in cash. Facing numerous charges under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act and Criminal Code are Sherman Laboucan, 38, of Wabasca; Kimberly Creighton, 56, and Wacey Creighton, 30, of Fort Macleod; and, Mekdela Kitaw, 21, and Khawa Jany, 19, of Calgary.
